Many cities and towns of Lebanon were mentioned in the Bible, from the time of Hiram and Christ.
Especially, Saidon was mentioned 50 times in the bible. Below are few instances where it was mentioned.
First it was mentioned in the part describing the population's distribution all over the earth, where accordingly, Saidon the son of Canaan, son of Ham, son of Noah.
Saidon was mentioned as being the Canaanite neighbors, as well as Gaza, Sadoum and Amoura.
